Bug – Resizing triples the PNG image weight

I haven’t heard any other reports of this. As you already uploading files exactly as you’d like to have them, it makes sense to disable the image regeneration on your site. Here’s how to do that:

Ok turn off could be a temporary solution.
But the re-sizing of woocommerce in various sizes should improve the speed based on how the image is used, whether as a thumbnail or a product page.

It would perhaps be the case to solve the problem.

I see that the original image is 904×904, which WooCommerce has resized to 700×904 – it’ll have done that based on the settings via Customizer > WooCommerce > Product Images. Can you please confirm that the image size is set to 700×904?

I confirm, they were created with the previous version of Woocommerce, set the image size 700 × 904.
In the new version of woocommerce, I had not yet verified, the interface has been simplified in only two options for image resizing, and the product size is 700×700.
Probably in the update, however, has left the old images.
