This bug has been in SEO Press for years and not fixed so I thought I might as well report it!

If you use ‘quick edit’ to change the title of a post in the ‘Posts’ menu in WP, any redirection attached to that post is removed.

    Weird but true.

    This is easy to replicate.

Take a WP post and set up a redirection to another post. Tick the box ‘Enable redirection?’ and save.

Go to the ‘Posts’ page in WP.

Find the post you redirected and click ‘Quick Edit’ under the post title. Make a minor change to the title of the post and update it.

Go back into the post and look under ‘Redirection’. The tick (and therefore the activation of the redirection) has disappeared.

This has happened for years and years ……!
