Bug Report: Pressing Escape on a different window closes comment reply

Well this is a fairly big pain in the ass that has cost me a few hours of work over the past month or two. If you are in the middle of writing a comment reply and then switch windows to say skype and then type a message there and then with the skype window focused you press escape to close it it will also close the comment reply box deleting everything you just typed up.

I am using Firefox in Ubuntu 10.04 so I Am not sure if this is something that is also screwed up in windows.
