The Visual Builder (Unlayer) has a setting for pre-header text (in Global Style). This setting is not connected to FluentCRM’s setting for pre-header text. ?

  • Hi @karlemilnikka,

Can you please share a bit more details regarding the issue so we can try recreating it on our end?

If you use the shortcode {{crm_preheader_text}} in the pre-header text of visual builder email settings then it should fetch the pre-header text from FluentCRM settings.

    Thank you!

    Thanks for the reply.

I’m sorry I was unclear. The mergetag {{crm_preheader_text}} works as intended. There are however two fields for setting the mergetag. These fields are not connected. The first field is in the Visual Builder’s (Unlayer’s) Global Style. The second field, the one that actually sets the output of the {{crm_preheader_text}} mergetag, is on FluentCRM’s native Subject & Settings page.

The issue persists with FluentCRM 2.8.30.

The issue persists in Fluent CRM 2.8.40. There are two fields for setting the pre-header text. The text in the Visual Editor’s field (step 1) takes priority over the text set later in step 2.

I would suggest just removing the field from the Visual Builder since it is redundant. Here’s more info: https://docs.unlayer.com/docs/features#preheader-text. @tahmidulkarim
