BUG REPORT: Cannot set DB charset to utf8mb4_unicode_ci error: Invalid character

    My wordpress installation has define('DB_CHARSET', 'utf8mb4_unicode_ci'); in the wp-config.php file

    Whenever I run a DB backup, I get the following warning message:

    WARNING: Cannot set DB charset to utf8mb4_unicode_ci error: Invalid characterset or character set not supported

    How do I fix this?

    it’s MySql warning, it’s said that your MySql server did not support utf8mb4_unicode_ci, please contact your hosting provider about this ??
