Bug Report: Cannot add a question

    Hallo,

    I cannot add a question to a Test course I created.
    Well, technically I can add a question (I can take an empty version of the quiz), but I cannot define the options (e.g. A “This one” B “Another one” C “None of the Above” D “All of the Above”) or indicate the correct answer (e.g. C “None of the Above”).

    I can open the Builder.
    I can select Create / Edit Quiz under the Lesson 1.
    I can see the “Lesson, Assignment, Quiz” tabs in the sidebar on the right and select Quiz tab.
    I can rename the quiz, toggle on or off to publish, choose passing percentages, retake limits, time limits, show/don’t show correct answers and randomize.
    I do have a button in the bottom right corner to Add a Question.
    I can select a question type (multiple choice, choose picture, true/false, content).

    However, after selecting a question type, I do NOT get any menu like is seen at 1:22 of your instructional video at this url: https://lifterlms.com/docs/create-quiz-lifterlms/

    Instead, it adds an empty question to the quiz and shows the General Settings for the Quiz again.

    I am using the latest version of the plugin (3.24.2) as downloaded from the official WordPress repository.

    Nevermind. I was following your instructions on your video that I liked to above.
    But when I collapsed the General Settings, the questions are below that.
    It is not very user friendly for someone who has never used your plugin though, but it works now, so ??

    I know… I’m sorry. We’re trying to figure out how to rebuild the interface for *shorter* screens that prevent this from displaying on page load. I haven’t been able to come up with a better solution… Thanks for figuring it out and dealing with the confusion… I promise it’s really powerful if you can get past that initial bit of confusion.

    Hi Adel,

    How you have resolved that problem? For me the same thing, I cannot edit quiz questions…

    @pauliuspelenis,

    If collapsing the settings doesn’t work per the above solution can you post a new topic complete with some screenshots and a copy of your system report.
