• Hello,

Latest Woocommerce, wordpress and Ocean WP versions.

I have a header with a menu containing drop down menu items.

I set vertical header in the header style in the customizer.

In Dropdown Target “Choose your opening target for your submenus”, I choose “LINK”, I save changes.

Then I resize my window to a smaller size and wait for the hamburger icon to show up on the right, I click on the “hamburger” menu icon, and then click on any dropdown menu item, it opens and then closes immediately, I won’t remains opened. I think I found a bug.

Other observation: If I choose “ICON” in Dropdown Target “Choose your opening target for your submenus”, then, when the windows is small and the menu hamburger icon showing up on the right, if I click on any dropdown menu item (not on the icon), it displays properly, and remains opened, but this does not respect the “ICON” setting which has been set. In the vertical header menu, I have to click on the “+” icon to open the dropdown menu (normal behavior and it respects the “ICON” setting)

I hope this comment has been useful

    Thank you

Hello @abhikr781, thank you for your help,

This is the homepage (please wait 3 seconds for the button to allow access): https://www.temporary-url.com/90F

I have set “VERTICAL HEADER” in the header settings (in customizer) with LINK setting to unfold sub categories in dropdown menu. It works in desktop sized windows, but if you resize the browser window to a smaller size until the hamburger icon shows up on the right, please, click on the hamburger icon to reveal menu, then click on “Category”. You will see that the dropdown menu opens and closes immediately and won’t remain in an open state.

    Hello,

Thank you for explaining in detail.

Please go to Appearance > Header > Mobile Menu, scroll down and find the Dropdown target option, select “ICON” there instead of “LINK” and check.

and as you above mentioned, I don’t think you will see any differences after selecting the ICON.

Hello @abhikr781, thanks for suggesting this idea,

This works perfectly but maybe a fix for this little issue in next updates? This will let OceanWP users allow LINK or ICON for mobile menu when using VERTICAL HEADER. Currently, when using LINK on mobile menu with vertical header, it’s not working. This seems to be happening only when using vertical header.

    Thank you!
