Hello. I loved your plugin and intended to use as my go to video embedder, but it presents a conflict with the theme I use, Headway Themes (https://headwaythemes.com/).

In case you don’t know it, the theme is a drag and drop theme framework, and uses a Visual Editor that stops working as your plugin is installed. Changes made in the parameters of the Visual Editor do not update on the screen. Disabling it restores the theme functionality immediately. It was quite hard to find it out as I could not imagine this kind of interaction between this plugin and the editor.

Hope a fix is possible for this odd interaction. In case it happens, I’d love you could implement TED direct support as well.

    Thanks!

Could you please ask the Headway guys about what is actually causing this?

It’s not rare at all that themes and plugins cause problems, so the first steps investigating should always be disabling plugins and reverting to wordpress default themes to find out.

As for TED as I said earlier TED is working, don’t know if you notice that but if I add direct support the only difference will be that the shortcode will actually be:

    [ted id="part_of_ted_embed_url"]

    instead of:

    [iframe id="https://full_ted_embed_url"]

I might add it in the future.

Actually this should be fixed in 2.6.1 now, if not please open a new thread.
