    Hi, small bug report.

    Chrome, Windows

Problem: LiveMesh grid does not initiate its animation sequence if it is present in a secondary tab. If I put it the grid on the primary Tab it does.

The second tab (Kratom Information Menu) which has the LiveMesh grid doesn’t appear on page load, but if I resize the page / browser window momentarily, the animation sequence the grid sets up.

    Bug viewable here: https://www.kratom.gr/en/

Two tabs there, Home and Kratom Information Menu
The issue is with Kratom Information Menu tab, which is actually a page (Via Insert Page Plugin)

This is the page inserted into the tab: https://www.kratom.gr/en/kratom-info-menu/

Using the LiveMesh Grid widget in a page, then the page is inserted (Via Insert Page plugin) to a secondary Tab, Tab widget doesn’t matter, I have used both Siteorigin / Livemesh Tab with same issue.

It appears the issue is with the animation sequence not starting as the grid is loaded.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Tabs have their limitations – anything you add to the secondary tabs which requires Javascript fails since it is hidden from the view and the required events are not fired from the JS. In short, you won’t be able to use a grid or a carousel or a slider inside a tab reliably. Things may work with the first tab but will certainly fail with the rest of the tabs.

I figured as much, usually there is a workaround or something.
I mean that would be really nice for it to work in tabs, instead of only using onload, couldn’t onchange be used when switching tabs and monitor the tab id or something? Especially since you make your own tab plugin could maybe be hooked. Anyways, thanks for the input.

Andreas – I will think about a way to address this since it is one of the frequently reported issues with the tabs widget. Will help quite a few if we find a solution. Thanks for your feedback.
