    Hi,

The plugin works for single products, but not for multiple. Try to add at least twice the same product, and only one is accounted for in the deposit.

The bug is visible on the demo.

    Regards

Hi, we think the issue is specific to your website. So we need to check your website configurations in detail. Can you please create a support ticket on our support forum to get detailed support. You can check the exact working on our demo website. Thanks!?

The bug is visible on your demo, please check again :

Add twice the $15 album : the deposit is $7.50 instead of $15.

The calculations are correct. That product has a separate?deposit rule added to its product edit page. Please check the screenshot:?https://tinyurl.com/2d2mr7fw.?

My bad. I’ve created the ticket.

Solved. The problem was that cases where VAT is included in the displayed price weren’t included in the free version. Buying the pro version and help of support solved it.

    Hello,

I installed the free version to try it out. On the demo page the deposit amounts are calculated correct. On my page (https://www.flyairea.com/shop/schulung/album/) the deposit is just taken from one quantity. Could this be solved in the free version also?
I’m thinking of the pro version when I’m going to have more different products but not when the free version has bugs.

    Thanks, Emanuel

We have checked your website, we found that you are?not using the “Acowebs deposit plugin”, which?is something else. We think this is not a bug, it is a premium feature that you are looking for. In our free version plugin “excluding tax” settings are considered. We found that you are using the “including tax” setting on your website. You can test this from our premium?version demo provided.?

    Hello again!

After your update it’s working also for the free version with the quantity. But as i can see the Due payment amount is calculated wrong on product level basis. It’s right calculated for percentage and fixed amount in the cart total. Don’t know if you have this mistake also in the pro version.

we couldn’t understand your issue properly. Our deposit calculation depends upon several site configurations. You can see several settings in our pro version backed settings. Our free version options are limited. If you come to our dedicated support forum, then we will check and help you. Otherwise please share more details of the issue here, including screenshots. Because there is some limitation to ask questions here.

    Hi again!
I put two checkout tables side by side. One time with 2 pieces (to see that its working with more quantities then 1), one time with 1 piece (to easier see the percentage on 1 Euro)

    https://ibb.co/wKLhrdH

Yes, I have the taxes included (you mentioned earlier here). Viewing the product, the text for paying a deposit looks for the customer like:
Pay a deposit of 25% per article. If I would be customer, I would think that I need to pay then 25% of the amount. In the example with a product price of 1,00 Euro I would think to pay now 0,25 Euro and later 0,75 Euro. But the calculation says 0,21 Euro. From which amount is 0,21 Euro the percentage of 25% then?
If I take a gross amount of 1,00 Euro, the net amount of this is (1,00/1,2) 0,83 Euro. Taking a deposit of 25% from the net amount with ‘calculation one’ (0,83 – 0,83/1,25) is 0,17 Euro. Taking a deposit of 25% from the net amount with ‘calculation two’ (0,83*1,25 – 0,83) is 0,21 Euro. So I guess you are using ‘calculation two’.
To calculate the due payment the calculation also is then: (0,83*1,75 – 0,83) = 0,62 Euro.
Exactly this values are shown on product level. 0,21 deposit and 0,62 due payment. What is 0,83 in total net payment and with tax of 20% included we’re coming back to 1,00 Euro.
Then on total payment amount, the calculation is made strange as the deposit payment is taken over from the calculation based on the net amount (0,21 Euro). If tax would be included here, it would need to be 0,21 * 1,2 = 0,25 Euro. The due payment then in total payment is shown with 0,79 Euro (the missing value to 1,00 Euro I guess). If tax is not included, then it would need to be again listed 0,62 Euro. If tax is included, it would need to be 0,62 * 1,2 = 0,75 Euro.

Just to explain why I didn’t upgrade to the pro version till now:
Our company is fresh founded. As you may have seen we are offering tandem flights in paragliding. Now the season is just in the beginning so the customers are rare and our availability is given. When the season is high and we will work a lot, customers will be in a row by bookings. And of course, If a customer already paid, he/she has priority. Doesn’t matter if as a deposit or the full amount. Based on customer wish the payment can be made. Based on experience we know, that not every customer has cash money in the pocket. To get an ATM takes time then. So in case a deposit payment is made and the rest could be payed after the flight, the payment in electronic way would be preferred (to save the way to the ATM) and a working deposit plugin would be nice.
But what we don’t really know till now is, how our customers will pay really. Or what we will do, when we can’t make the flight because of bad weather. That’s why I’m just trying szenarios now and thinking about a pro version when I know the real needs.

I think if you are offering a free version, it should work with tax and without. Then everybody can try it out and can see if he/she needs such a plugin. Anyway when it comes to a real need of the plugin, a user will go to the pro version as the deposit for different products will need to be different. We for example when offering a guided tour with limited places would make there an even payment as a pre- (reservation) payment and then the rest of the sum. For Example if the Tour is 600 Euro including tax, I would take a pre payment of 300 Euro (50%) because I need to reserve rooms in hotels and also pay them in advance.
But for tandem flights i would always rather just take a small reservation payment of 20 Euro just to fix the time slot and not to have a big reverse payment in case the flight does not take place. And there also never with percentage but with an even amount. So you see – I’m then in the need of taking the pro version anyway ??

Hope I can also help for the development with giving you customer needs ??

    Hi,

As you mentioned, these tax features are only available in the pro version of the plugin. And using the pro will fix your issue.

Unfortunately we cannot include the pro features into the free version of the plugin. In the pro version, we do have different features to assign the tax, attaching the screenshot below for your reference.

Therefore we kindly request you to upgrade to the pro-version to fix the issue.

    Thanks!
