Bug: Plugin disconnects from pinterest by itself after a few hours

  • I am facing a bug that makes it useless. When I connect it to my Pinterest account, verify my domain, and connect and sync the catalog, it disconnects itself from Pinterest after a few hours. I connected it several times, but the bug is not going away.

    I am also getting the following confliction warning

    The following installed plugin(s) can potentially cause problems with Rich Pins: RankMath SEO. Remove conflicting plugins or manage Rich Pins settings.

    I don’t think it is a problem with the rankmath. OR let me know if I need to change any of its settings.

    Please have a look and let me know on how to fix it.

    I’m sorry to hear about your issues with the Pinterest For WooCommerce extension. The warning message is there because it affects a lot of our users. So consider disabling the RankMathSeo plugin briefly to check if your connection to Pinterest remains intact without any disconnections. If you continue to have issues, we will need to review the logs for your store connection. Consider enabling the logs and then connecting to your account. We will also need your store status report to debug the issue further.

    Bundle of thanks for your response @simplysaru, I just checked the logs and discovered that the issue seems to be with my Pinterest account. I.e. My Pinterest merchant account has been disapproved. I’ve appealed to Pinterest support.

    I’ll let you know of the updates.

    BTW, I am also a developer, so if there’s something I could do, I’ll handle it and will let you know of the changes.
