Bug, Permalink “Day and name” block pagination

    This is a bug report: Pagination does not work with “Day and name” permalink setting.
    Workaround: use “plain” permalink.

    Wordpress version 4.9.4

    Hi Rafi, I don’t think I ever anticipated someone using the shortcode in a post. I’ve been using the same “paged” query var as core WP to paginate. My guess is that isn’t working on posts where it’s possible to actually have pagination related to the post itself. Can you use the shortcode on a page?

    I’ll have to have a good think about how/if this can be resolved.
