UM 2.2.5 free.
I want insert image into User’s Profile.
Go to Forms> Add New > Image Upload
Fill all the settings, set “Visible everywhere” and UNCHECK “User can edit this field”
My idea was it’s only admin can upload image in user’s profile, user can see it only.
My first problem was my image field disappears until image uploaded. I cannot see empty field with “Image” header.
OK, going to Edit profile (as admin), upload image, click on Update, and… it’s still disappearing!
Reload site as user, going to it’s profile > edit profile, and… User can upload image!
OK. Updating profile with new image, and it’s disappearing again! But editable in edit profile.
What i did wrong?

Hi @usver

Please share the screenshots with the image upload field’s settings from the form builder. I guess there can be incorrect settings, but I’ll try the same on my dev website and replicate the issue if exists.

I guess it may be cache affect.
But doubt about it

Hi,

This may be because of a plugin/theme conflict. Can you do a conflict test and see if the issue goes away? This doc explains how to do a conflict test if you are not sure: How to do a plugin/theme conflict test?

I miss this problem by set documents i need as PDF files.
The only question left is why users can edit restricted fields?
