Bug on Site Health page
-
Hi Really Simple SSL team,
in your current plugin version 4.0.2 there is a bug on the Site Health page when you activate the option “dismiss all Really Simple SSL notices” in your plugin.
When doing so, the “Missing security headers” notice is gone, as it should be. But the page never shows the big “Great job!”-check mark. It sticks to the “0 Critical issues / 0 Recommende improvements” status.
In the same moment there are console errors:
Uncaught TypeError: data.badge is undefined Underscore 2 template https://[URL]/wp-includes/js/wp-util.min.js?ver=5.5.3:2 d https://[URL]/wp-admin/js/site-health.min.js?ver=5.5.3:2 <anonymous> https://[URL]/wp-admin/js/site-health.min.js?ver=5.5.3:2 each jQuery <anonymous> https://[URL]/wp-admin/js/site-health.min.js?ver=5.5.3:2
And after quite a while another console error is added that gets repeated again after some time:
Uncaught TypeError: s is undefined <anonymous> https://[URL]/wp-includes/js/wp-auth-check.min.js?ver=5.5.3:2 jQuery 7 xhr https://[URL]/wp-includes/js/heartbeat.min.js?ver=5.5.3:2 jQuery 6 l https://[URL]/wp-includes/js/heartbeat.min.js?ver=5.5.3:2 d https://[URL]/wp-includes/js/heartbeat.min.js?ver=5.5.3:2 v https://[URL]/wp-includes/js/heartbeat.min.js?ver=5.5.3:2 heartbeat https://[URL]/wp-includes/js/heartbeat.min.js?ver=5.5.3:2 jQuery 8 heartbeat https://[URL]/wp-includes/js/heartbeat.min.js?ver=5.5.3:2 <anonymous> https://[URL]/wp-includes/js/heartbeat.min.js?ver=5.5.3:2 <anonymous> https://[URL]/wp-includes/js/heartbeat.min.js?ver=5.5.3:2
When we deactivate Really Simple SSL this problem instantly is all gone.
We see the problem in completely different WordPress installations on different machines in different data centers, PHP is 7.4, WordPress is 5.5.3.
Greetings,
