Bug: Non-public post types do not appear in list

I have a few custom post types defined. One of them is not public but I would still expect it to appear in the dropdown list when logged in as admin.

I notice it’s been quite a while since this plugin was updated or the author replied in these forums. I hope this plugin is not abandoned.
