BUG! no correct xml-sitemaps anymore

    Hi,
    since the 7.2 update, the sitemap isn’t correct anymore.
    The first line of the sitemap is empty and the code starts at line 2,
    so we get the notice that the sitemap isn’t correct.

    In 7.1 everything was fine.

    My programmer just installed 7.1 again. So you cant see the error.

    But I get this message:

    XML-Verarbeitungsfehler: XML- oder Text-Deklaration nicht am Beginn der Entit?t

    Zeile Nr. 2, Spalte 1:<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?><?xml-stylesheet type=”text/xsl” href=”//wondertalents.de/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/css/main-sitemap.xsl”?>

    This is the sitemap:
    1: (empty)
    2: <?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?><?xml-stylesheet type=”text/xsl” href=”//wondertalents.de/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/css/main-sitemap.xsl”?>

    But why does it work fine with 7.1 and not with 7.2? We didn’t change anything.

    Hi @rschulte,

    There could be a different plugin conflicting with 7.1 causing the issue. We are not certain what that is but a conflict check will help you narrow down the problem.
