    Hi Stefano,

Thanks for writing such a great plugin. We use it on every site, because it’s lightweight and simple to configure.

There is one problem that has occurred since two or three weeks: Links that contain a page ID return a 404 error page instead. I mean urls with this format:

    https://www.domain.com/?p=xx

Usually this would result in a 301 redirect to the page with post id xx. But now it returns a 404 error. I already found a workaround though: If I add the url to the list of bypasses (in the hyper cache settings), the problem is solved. But we would really appreciate it if this could be fixed in one of the following updates.

    Kind regards,
    Leon

Hi, disable the 404 caching. Anyway there is something strange: when a query string is present, hyper cache should suspend it self.

    Allright, thanks! I’ll try that!

    Hello Stefano,

I have the same problem, I apreciate very much the solution you suggested. The problem was fixed in my case too.

But I want to comment a related problem. I use a special Theme for mobile devices. Everything is OK, the mobile theme is shown to visitors using a mobile device and the “standard” theme is shown to visitors using a desktop PC (or laptop or similar devices). But the problem is about URLs that doesn’t exists. In this case, the 404 error page don’t correspond always with the visitor’s device.

I use the option “cache separately”.

The solution was the same: disable the 404 caching.

Thank you very much for your plugin, for your work.

    Axel
