    Well, I find the content option area for the sale notification confusing. There is no setting for sale so I set other option to first name. But still this is shown

    If someone has two forenames it will be shown which I don’t like for privacy of the customer.

    This is how the setting page looks like. Can someone enlighten me what is responsible for that?

    Hi @mike8040,

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused. It seems really very strange.

    Please create a sales notification newly. And from the CONTENT > Notification Template you can select the First Name from the first field (you can select as you want from the drop-down menu). You can check this screenshot: https://d.pr/i/xa1h6q

    And then it will show the customer’s first name on the notification.

    You can try once. Hope this will help you. Let me know how it goes.

    Thanks for your response. You need to be specific here. There 5 Notification Template entries. Which one? As you can see in the pic I did that already. That’s one point why the UI appears confusing

    So can you please create a new notification from the beginning and let me know how it goes ?

    Actually it’s a Known bug of ours which we have already fixed and preparing a release soon.

    This is going to be a major release 2.0.0 and you can download & install the development version from here

    You won’t see the multiple notification templates at a time anymore. Let me know how it goes.

    Thanks for getting back. Yes unfortunately I see multiple notification templates. The settings tab here looks like in the picture I posted and not how yours. Explains my confusion then. I thought this was meant to be organized like that.
    Weird. Seems like a bug then. I open a ticket.

    //Edit. Just saw the reply. So it’s already fixed. I try that version first. Otherwise I try to contact the support.

    Seems to be fixed. Just first names are shown like chosen. Great. The interface logic is also more convenient. I guess this is a premium feature but hide the notificationX logo is missing?

    Hi @mike8040,

    Glad to know that your issue is resolved now. And, you can actually hide the NotificationX logo from your Alerts in the FREE version. Here’s the screenshot: https://d.pr/i/3L296x

    Simply just check the “Disable Powered By” option from the NotificationX settings. You will be all good to go.

    Thanks a lot. Found it. One last question. I swear! Is it possible to translate the generic strings like “recently purchased” and “x days / x hours”.
    There seem to be something happening on its own because (main language is german) there it says “vor 2 days”. Where “vor” is a german word. How and why is this?
    I created translation with Poedit for “recently purchased” and “days” but its still the english phrase.

    Sorry for the late reply.
    For translating the text you can use LOCO Translator and for translating the time text (like days/hours) this option is not available right now.
    However, our Dev Team is working on this. Hopefully, we will add this feature as soon as possible.
