    Hi,
I have installed lscache plugin using digital ocean image from speedlite for wordpress. I have a website with multisite enabled with two subsites. There are three places to configure lscache (1) from network admin, (2) from site1 admin, (3) from site2 admin. I am having issues with enabling/disabling “Use Primary Site Configuration” setting from network admin.
For example, the only place where I can enable object cache (memcached) is the network admin setting (the setting for object cache does not appear in lscache setting pages in the sites). When I go to network setting for lscache and try to set the object cache to “on” it gives me the following message:
“?? This setting is overwritten by the primary site setting, currently set to OFF”. This is clearly a bug for the following reason: there is no other place to change the settings for object cache. Site1 is the primary site but there is no place to change object cache settings from site1 lscache admin settings.
Furthermore, when I go to site1 (Main/primary site) and try to change some settings, it gives me the same message: “?? This setting is overwritten by the primary site setting, currently set to OFF” and refuses to change the setting “sometimes”.
In general, I am starting to get this message in a wierd way, sometimes even if I disable the option “Use Primary Site Configuration” from network admin lscache settings.

Thanks for the help and I can give you admin access to the website if you wish.

So Am I the only one having this issue? did I miss some configuration or is this really a bug cause I am not yet able to find a solution.

No, you’re not. I’ve had the same issues and more. I reported them to the dev team also and they are looking into it currently.

    Some tips in the meantime:

    • Sometimes it’ll say that its overwritten but then you click away or refresh the page & it actually isn’t so go with whatever it shows you after reloading.
    • Until resolved, make sure to have Cache Wp-Admin OFF under Object Cache Settings since that could potentially make it worse.
    Plugin Support Hai Zheng?

The display issue on network admin settings is just fixed. Please try v3.3.2-rc1. You can use Toolbox-> Beta Test to install

Yep, I just tested the latest commit out and 99% of the affected settings while network activated are both displaying & working properly. The main Enable Cache setting now always complains about being “overwritten by the primary site setting” but even for the primary site then it can’t be changed and only uses the network admin setting.

If you had some settings stuck from before this then just toggle them & save then it’ll clear up and work normal afterwards.
