I found a bug in url with #, url with # are used in most of the theme for certain functions without reloading the page. Simply Static url rewrites without using #, which means a page charging and particular function does not work

Example in this theme very popular: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/
The menu for mobile devices, using an icon with code <a href="#"> to be launched, but instead Simply Static eliminates #, for the mobile menu you can not ever be used, because as soon as you click to open the menu actually recharges only the page.

Url with # are very used in the theme, because they do a trick easily.

It would be very important, not Simply Static url # changes. otherwise many theme may not work

Hi Scott at Code of Conduct!

I have a the same issue. On native site, i use < a href=”#tab1″>,… It was instead < a href=”https://abc.com/linktopage#tab1″ >. So it happen error when click tab.

How to fix it?

My english not well, sry!

Thanks for letting me know you’re also running into this issue. It’s still on our radar to get this fixed. Unfortunately I don’t have any solutions at the moment short of editing this manually.

The issues you were both having with urls with #’s should be fixed now in version 1.2.4 of Simply Static. Try it out and let me know if it works for you.
