Bug in plugin – delete lines from picture name

  • While trying to optimize all pictures i’m getting an error “An error occured when contacting webservice. Please try again later”.

    So I looked at the logs and saw that it deletes the first word of the file name, ONLY for the original image, the tumbmails works fine, here is the example: the file name is in herberw but you can see a word is missing (which is the first one)

    [03-03-2021 02:16:18] Error! Picture /wp-content/uploads/2020/12/-????-???????.jpg cannot be optimized, file is not found on disk.
    [03-03-2021 02:16:18] Optimized file /wp-content/uploads/2020/12/?????-????-???????-300×188.jpg from 10 KB to 8 KB
    [03-03-2021 02:16:19] Optimized file /wp-content/uploads/2020/12/?????-????-???????-1024×641.jpg from 85 KB to 70 KB

    Hi @tripmedia,

    Thanks for using our plugin. Can you provide us the expected name of your original file? We’ll try to reproduce the errors on our side. It may be due to the hebrew char encoding.
