Bug in Open Graph meta description for single events

  • FYI. There is a bug in how the plugin creates the Open Graph meta tag og:url when displaying the details of single events.

    The symptom is that any Facebook posts that link to a single event will display “Page not found” rather than an extract of the event information.

    The problem occurs when WordPress is installed in a subdirectory (e.g., wp/). In this case, the URL in the og:url meta tag repeats the subdirectory (e.g., wp/wp/).

    A bug report and possible fix to the relevant PHP code has been submitted to the developers.
