    Hello,
    ? ? I recently updated to Wordfence 5.3.5, and now all its notification emails have HTML code printing in the message. Here’s an example of a recent hacking notification email:

    <p>User IP: 213.125.56.122
    User hostname: D57D387A.static.ziggozakelijk.nl
    User location: De Meern, Netherlands
    </p>

    <p>Click here to sign-up for the Premium version of Wordfence now.<br>
    <a href="https://www.wordfence.com/wordfence-signup/">https://www.wordfence.com/wordfence-signup/<a></p>

    ? ? The HTML code second from last isn’t even valid, having two <a>s in a row instead of ending with an </a>.? Since Wordfence is sending emails formatted in plaintext, it can’t use HTML code or it will print, as seen in my example above.

    Thanks, we’re aware of this. It was a bug introduced with our newest release. We’ll be putting out a release in the next 48 hours which fixes this. Apologies for any inconvenience.

    Regards,

    Mark.

    Thanks I’ve seen this too. I was going to strip out the HTML in the email notifier file but I’ll wait for the update.
