Hi Webtoffee,
It turned out local uBlock settings are causing the breaking up of the GDPR bar. I managed to replicate the issue on my system with Firefox and uBlock. uBlock altered the plugin′s CSS and added ′display:none;′ statements in the first 3 divs.
Apart from CSS interventions, uBlock was blocking the scripting as well.
I would say people should expect a website to get messed up if the ad blocking settings for a plugin in their browser are just too strict. So far, the problem was reported by only 2 clients who seem allergic to ads, so they probably have very strict ad blocking settings.
As far as I am concerned, this issue can be considered …well not solved, but also not really caused by the plugin.
Maybe for future versions, you could look into developing a method that even strict ad blocker settings would leave alone, if that is at all possible.
Thanx!
