    Hi @mariaihfowihowh,

We too are using the latest version of firefox and adblock. The screenshot we shared shows the cookie widget correctly displayed. We are sorry but without replicating the issue, we are unable to help you out. Hope you understand.

Can you please try clearing the browser cache and see if the problem persists.

I’ve cleared the browser cache and website cache multiple times. Still the same problem. The widget does not appear, it’s just the huge x and text like I posted. I’ve tried switching between widget, popup and low bar, still lokks the same. I’m browsing on a macbook.

The widget displays correctly on all other browsers, Chrome, Safari and Opera.

If I disable Adblock in firefox it displays the widget correctly and no large X+text. So the issue is definitely your plugin in combination with adblock on Firefox.

    Hi @mariaihfowihowh,

Could you please reach us via support forum here so that we can dig deep into this. As we are unable to replicate the issue from our end, we cannot debug it like this.

I am having the same issue here since the latest update from 0.9, also using an adblocker. When I disable uBlock, the GDPR bar is shown correctly. When uBlock is on: A page-wide X, and two fields which appear to be from the GDPR plugin′s admin settings. That is a bit disturbing… ??

Hope you manage to resolve this issue. Thank you in advance, and also for an otherwise great plugin.

    Hi @blink183,

Could you please reach us via support and share the page URL.

Hi Webtoffee, did as you requested (see ticketno.5828) and thank you.

    Hi Webtoffee,

It turned out local uBlock settings are causing the breaking up of the GDPR bar. I managed to replicate the issue on my system with Firefox and uBlock. uBlock altered the plugin′s CSS and added ′display:none;′ statements in the first 3 divs.
Apart from CSS interventions, uBlock was blocking the scripting as well.

I would say people should expect a website to get messed up if the ad blocking settings for a plugin in their browser are just too strict. So far, the problem was reported by only 2 clients who seem allergic to ads, so they probably have very strict ad blocking settings.

As far as I am concerned, this issue can be considered …well not solved, but also not really caused by the plugin.
Maybe for future versions, you could look into developing a method that even strict ad blocker settings would leave alone, if that is at all possible.

    Thanx!
