• Hello,

    I think I found a bug.

If you set the featured image to be a full width cover for articles, then WooCommerce products are affected by this setting and show the main product image on top of the page. This is inappropriate because product image are usually square and small, not supposed to be all over the top page.

However, if you set the featured image to be before or after the title, then it doesn’t show up for WooCommerce.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Best regards

  • Hi Robin,

Upon checking, I’m unable to replicate the issue on my end using latest theme version:

Please let me know the exact steps to reproduce the problem. Thank you!

    Hello,

I think I’ve not been nearly as understandable as I thought, so let’s try to correct this.
Some screenshots will help understanding/reproducing the issue:

    Woocommerce + Customizr banner bug

    Steps to reproduce:
    1) Make a woocommerce product with a product image
    2) Set customizr theme settings as such : Main Content / Single posts / “Post thumbnail position” = Before the title in full width

    Expected result:
Show the image in full width for posts, but not for woocommerce products

    Actual result:
Show the image in full width both for posts and products which is ugly on productsf for most people because image products are usually not high res enough to be stretched to full screen, also they are usually square, not rectangular…

    Suggestion on how to fix:
    – Just remove the banner for woocommerce product pages.
    – Or, add a specific setting for woocommerce product pages (and why not product categories pages). That would avoid complaints from people who might like the current behavior, even though I’d expect to be very few people liking it the current way.

    Best.

@robin-labadie thanks for reporting this issue with all those details.
A specific setting for WooCommerce product page could be the solution. We’re working on it. Fix on the way.

    Awesome, thank you!

You might want to remember that WooCommerce also has category and subcategory page that also have images. ??

Just ran the update. Not sure if this is fixed already for the free version: seems like the checkbox has no effect for me.
