Sorry, that one didn’t make it to the latest update.

The other one (choose the type of subscription for checkbox) is done.

The one with the selection on the management page was moved for the next update. There should be another update this month and it will be fixed in that one.

In the meantime I hope that the temporary solution mentioned on that ticket will help out.

good to know, thanks. I have another question: I want to make it impossible for subscription management links to be sent via the /manage-subscriptions/ page/form. I don′t need the subscription management page option, and I don′t want to have to use Google reCAPTCHA to protect the form against spammers (due to potential gdpr penalties for using reCAPTCHA without consent). I manually deleted the “request-management-link.php” file so it doesn′t send the emails anymore. But I guess that the file will be restored again whenever I update the StCR plugin? Is there any way for me to permanently remove the file?

In the latest update we made an adjustments there so the system only sends the management link if the email is already a subscriber. So regardless of the reCAPTCHA you should not be receiving spam submissions through that form.

You could still receive them through the “subscribe without commenting” form but you can remove that link in WP admin > StCR > Comment Form > Default label. That way there won’t be an option to subscribe without commenting.
