    Hey!

When adding a new field into existing form for the user when he or she registers, the field is not added after clicking “Add new field”. But the system says “Field has been successfully created”.

Thought at first that it had something to do with my translation but I changed to English and it’s still the same problem.

    Please help!

    /Martin

The only way I can add a new field is by adding it in the EWD_FEUP_Fields table of the database! Then the field adds.
Still, i can press the add button and it adds nothing but says that it was successful!

I can’t even change the field in the admin area.
Right now I’ve got them all as “text” just because I added them through the database.
And I can not change one of them in to an integer.

I’m running PHP Version 5.6 which I haven’t changed at all!

Also .. I can register with the same E-mail adress as another account.
I just don’t understand anything right now.
Everything was working so nice and smooth. But after the latest update everything went craaaazy!

    Hi Martin,

Thank you for the further information.

The reason we updated from 2.7.3 to 2.7.4 was because of the following issue that you mentioned:

for Add_EWD_FEUP_Field(), called in /customers/7/a/4/martinhult.se/httpd.www/test/wp-content/plugins/front-end-only-users/Functions/Prepare_Data_For_Insertion.php on line 542 and defined in /customers/7/a/4/martinhult.se/httpd.www/test/wp-content/plugins/front-end-only-users/Functions/Update_Admin_Databases.php on line 188

So you don’t have to worry about that because it’s already been fixed.

For your other issues, we think it’s a database compatibility problem. We are currently working on an update that addresses this and a few other things, including the login error you mentioned elsewhere. We will release this update once we have the fixes applied.

But the problem about adding fields is still there?
Wasn’t that suppose to be fixed?

    I find the same issue.
It’s impossibile to create or modify any field…

Ditz80, thank you for your reply about having the same problem.
Though at first I was crazy having this kind of problem by myself!

Did a total reinstall yesterday. Maybe a little bit to early. Seem that they’re sorting it out! =)

    Hi Martin and Ditz80,

We are in the middle of working on a big update and, as such, have been experiencing some file crossover between different versions of the plugin. I apologize for that.

The latest version, which we just released, should rectify the issue in which you couldn’t add a field.

    Wooho! Now it’s working again!
Sorry for my spamiatic behavior! =D

Btw .. the Update Account-field under labeling doesn’t save when changed.
    Just so you know! =)

    Hi Martin,

Glad it’s working correctly for you now. We’ll take a look at that label.

Just want to give you guys a further update.
When clicking ads field without entering any data att all. It still says successfully added. Also when deleting fields it says deleting successful when nothing is checked.

Maybe out of a more user friendly perspective it should give some kind of notifications that forms or fields must be filled or checked to be able to add or delete! ??

    Hi Martin,

Thanks for letting us know about this. We’ll take it into consideration for a future update.
