    Hello there,

I started to use this plugin today because I needed a solution for a calendar with events that display below the said calendar.

My problem is, the calendar states that there’s no events in the current month when there’s one (or several) events correctly formatted on it.

I think it’s definitely a bug, because also fails when I click on the exact day of the current month that contains an event correctly formated, the events lists switches to “THERE ARE NO EVENTS IN THIS PERIOD”.

Events set in differents months work flawlessly.

I supposed this was because the plugin isn’t updated since the start of the Summer, but I just downgraded my WP installation on purpose and it did not fix the problem.

Can I get some help? Thank you

    Hi @saragonr91,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Can you please tell since for how long you are facing this issue.

It seems some of your installed plugins or theme’s script is conflicting with the Simple Event Planner.

For testing purpose, please deactivate all the plugins except Simple Job Board and activate any WP Default Twenty theme and then take a try.

Note: This activity is just to locate the conflict.

    Best Regards

    Hi again,

Done, deactivated every non-essential plugin, switched theme to TwentySomething and…solved!

I think it’s an issue with Smart Slider or maybe with inserting a custom widget area in the template.

When I switched between my theme and TwentySeventeen, my custom slider inserted via custom widget area disappeared without reason. But at the same time, the bug with this plugin disappeared, and later I was able to reset the slider in the same place it was so…great!

    Thank you.

Before I left, one question, there’s any kind of documentation on how to customize the events page style?

    Hi @saragonr91,

Good to know that your issue is resolved.

For customizing the event page style please review the event planner templating section in this link

You can access the desired file for templating in the following directory:
    simple-event-planner/public/partials

Hey there, I’m sad this was marked as resolved after all because I found THIS plugin is the reason I’m having troubles saving changes in the Template Editor, or in any place in the admin panel.

I used a php error log plugin and I could get this:

[27-Nov-2019 16:32:28 UTC] PHP Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cookie – headers already sent in /wp-content/plugins/simple-event-planner/includes/class-simple-event-planner.php on line 270

Also the calendar doesn’t show up on the pages if I am logged in as admin.
I have to open private session on the browser to see the calendar.

    Help please : (

    Hello there,

Is there any news on the issue?

    Hi @saragonr91 ,

Its just a warning & the reason is its fired under constructor of the class. If we execute it with the hook wp_loaded then it wouldn’t say headers already sent anymore.

For the time being you can disable your debugger to avoid from any notice.

We’ll surely fix it in our next SEP release.

    Thanks & Regards,

Dear, My log file is exploding because the error generate a new log entry every second. Please, can you provide an ETA for your update? In meantime I can’t disable the debugger for many reason. Thanks & regards, Antonello

    Antonello,

    Thank you for reaching out.

We have a lot of things going parallel at the moment. It will probably take around a few weeks for the next release of SEP.

We would highly appreciate your patience while we work on the next release.

    Thanks & Regards,
