I am testing gravity forms pods plugin with gravity flow workflow plugin ( where it adds pods feed to gravity forms )… I get critical error with pods GF addon installed but when i use default gravity forms post creation plugin i don’t get error… I removed this plugin and it works with GFpost creation plugin and if i activate this plugin it fails to work with critical error..

I have a “pods” feed that creates a new custom post when form is submitted and mapped fields to pods… Since removing it i added gravity forms custom post type plugin and it works.

Seems GFpods plugin has a conflict with gravity flow plugin – can you help?
See below as it appears Gravity flow team has already pointed this issue out to pods team.

    Hello Nathan,

    Thank you for clarifying.
We have been discussing this internally and have already reported this issue to the PODs.

It would also help if you can reach out to them via their support.

You can mention that they should be looking at gform_pre_entry_detail action hook to setup Pods GF add-on hooks for when they are updating form entry, or check with GFCommon::is_entry_detail() to check if they are on the correct page before calling the form method from GFEntryDetail.

Does this help? Please do let us know when you hear back from the Pods team.

    Thanks,

Hi, I can’t really offer any insight here since that’s a premium plugin and I don’t have access to it on my side to test and see what conflict they have here.

Sorry I can’t be more help but it’s much easier to test conflicts with free plugins because I can just go install them. Since this is a free plugin itself and I’m not currently a customer of the Gravity Flow product, I don’t have access and can’t justify paying for the license for support purposes.

I’ll continue looking at this from the code I can control but cannot test against Gravity Flow itself to know whether it is resolved or if there are other issues that show up after these changes.

the error and recommendation above came straight form the dev’s of gravity flow and they said they have already reached out to you and identified issue… I appreciate your help as of right now I am forced to not use until fixed as it is a critical error.

i can duplicate site and give you password – and make video showing error…if it would help…not sure how you want to proceed or what email to send to?

Nathan, I’ll reply as soon as I can with a potential solution. My hope is within the next day or two.

I understand your issue recently came up but these are free plugins and I’m helping with the time that I have to spare. I need to ensure compatibility with two separate premium plugins which will involve extra testing to ensure introducing this change won’t break other peoples projects which are currently working fine.
