Bug: Empty content area does not update in database

    When I write something in the main content area of wordpress while creating an event, press the update button the content is saved in the post_content field of the wp_em_events table.

    If I delete that content and press update the content is not overwritten with a NULL value and the original data persists.

    Only by adding a single space to the content area and saving that into the wp_em_events table, will the post_content field be updated.

    Any chance of getting this bug fixed?
