    Hello,

I have an issue with elementor, I have set the default paragraph font in my ocean wp theme settings to be ROBOTO SLAB.

As long as elementor is activated, I don’t see roboto slab as font but the default elementor paragraph font.

No matter what I try in the elementor settings “Disable Default Fonts” checked or unchecked doesn’t solve the issue.

Also, on every page loaded (even those that are generated by the theme, and NOT built with elementor), I see in the html code .elementor-kit-88 and when disabling the subline font-family: “Roboto”, Sans-serif;” THEN the proper roboto slab displays (that I set in my ocean wp theme settings).

Note : no caching plugin activated. Latest elementor, wordpress, ocean wp theme versions

    Any fix?

    Thank you

    I have noticed something:

The theme loads a top bar content created with elementor. It seems to load elementor styling because of this.
When deactivating top bar content, the right roboto slab paragraph font displays.

But still, how to prevent elementor from changing all the parahaph font of my theme? It is an annoying bug

“Checking this box will disable Elementor’s Default Fonts, and make Elementor inherit the fonts from your theme.” doesn’t work.

With this checked, elementor still displays it own fonts and overrides the theme fonts.

    Example:

I have set ROBOTO SLAB as paragraph font in my OCEANWP theme settings.
I put a text editor module on a elementor page: the paragraph shows the default elementor paragraph font and NOT ROBOTO SLAB. Despite having this “Checking this box will disable Elementor’s Default Fonts, and make Elementor inherit the fonts from your theme.” checked.

    What is wrong?

    Found the fix:

    For anyone stuck with this:

Go to the site settings in elementor panel and for paragraph, set the font to default.
If any font is set here, it will not comply with the “Checking this box will disable Elementor’s Default Fonts, and make Elementor inherit the fonts from your theme.” rule.
