Bug: Apostrophe Breaks Focus Keyword Sensing in Image Alt Attributes

    When an apostrophe (‘) is used anywhere within the image alt text, even if the focus keyword is not affected, Rank Math SEO fails to detect that the focus keyword exists at all in the alt text and displays “Add an image with your Focus Keyword as alt text.”

    For example: “Rank Math SEO doesn’t always work for KEYWORD” will fail to see the keyword, while the alt text “Rank Math SEO does not always work for KEYWORD” will succeed.

    We suggest typing the apostrophe?'?directly from the keyboard to your title, image ALT text, content, and the focus keywords so they match exactly (differences in the character encoding of the apostrophe can cause an issue). You can also copy the focus keyword and paste it into your image ALT, title, and content text to see if that works for you.

    Please note that our plugin checks for the exact match of the focus keyword.

    This might be the worst response I have received in quite some time. How do you imagine I am inserting the apostrophe, if not directly from the keyboard?
