BUG: Ampersand in Location name

    Just an FYI for the developers: If a location name contains an ampersand (&), the google map will not load on the event page or on the location page.

    A working example:
    Philip’s Brewery and Malting Co. Tasting Room
    2010 Government St.
    Victoria, BC, V8T 4P1
    Canada

    But this does not work:
    Philip’s Brewery & Malting Co. Tasting Room
    2010 Government St.
    Victoria, BC, V8T 4P1
    Canada

    it seems working fine on our test site using the latest EM dev version 5.9.5.2 – you can try and check for dev updates by enabling option under events > Settings > general > admin tools

    I have several event titles and several location titles with ampersands and I have never had an issue with the maps or with anything going haywire.

    In addition to following Angelo’s advice; if that was happening to me, on a hunch I would question if some odd code was getting copied and pasted while creating the post.

    I get strange formatting results in my editor sometimes when I copy from some other web pages, and paste directly into my post editor, without first stripping the content down to basic text by dropping it into Notepad and copying from there to paste into my Events posts editor.
