[RESOLVED] All Contacts Removed from List After 4.3.5 update

Yes..there was a bug in Email Subscribers 4.3.5 where all contacts were removed from a list. We have already fixed this issue in ES 4.3.5.1
When this problem happen?
If you have upgraded to 4.3.5 and someone tries to subscribe to a list, system removed all contacts from that list and add new contact into that list. So, after upgrade if no one subscribe to the list, it won’t remove contacts from that list.
How to fix?
We have already fixed this issue in ES 4.3.5.1. So, if new contact will subscribe to list, it won’t remove other contacts from that list.
How to add removed contact to list back?
Sorry..but we don’t preserve state of a removed contacts. So, we can’t exactly add them back to a list with preserved status (subscribed, unsubscribed etc..)
But, you can definitely add them back using “Bulk Action” feature and update their status.
You can go to Email Subscribers > Audience and select all contacts to whom you want to add them into a list and from “Bulk Action” dropdown select “Add to list” and select the list in which you want to add.
After doing this, contacts will be added to list with “Subscribed” status. You can also change the status in bulk.
Is it ok to directly upgrade to 4.3.5+ version of Email Subscribers?
Yes, if you haven’t upgraded to ES 4.3.5, you don’t have this issue. You can directly upgraded to ES 4.3.5+ without any issue.
