• Hi and thanks for a great plugin!

I have an ACF pro Gallery field. With Elementor pro I’ve created an Edit New Post Form. It doesn’t matter if I use a front end form here or if I add an item and from the field type choose ACF field group and then select my ACF field group. The same thing will happen.

The ACF Gallery field has th eoptions Custom Directory, Secure Directory and Hide from Library set to on. But when I add new posts from the front end these options are not respected and I can see the image in the WP Media Library.

Also, if I use you plugin to create a delete post and delete the added post the image is still left in the media library.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug or just a missing feature?

    With best regards,

    bb

Hello and thank you for reporting this issue.

I will check to see if the hide from library and custom directory features are not working. Are you uploading images via the media library or browser upload?

I will also add your question as a feature request to delete attached images together with the post.

Lastly, please change the title of this ticket to something less vague. That way other users can reference it to learn more about this issue.

    All the best, Shabti

Hi and thanks for the swift answer!

I’m afraid I can’t see any link/buttons to change the topic.

The uploads are browser uploads because I don’t want the user to see the wp media library.

Would be awesome to delete the corrensponding images when deleting the post.

Once again, thanks for an awesome plugin and have a great week!

I’ve done some further testing and it seems to be nothing wrong on your (Frontend admin) end. However, the ACF -> Presentation -> Instruction fields are not showing when using the Elementor add post widget and adding an ACF field group.

Can it be that the instructions are white text on a white background? Or are they not showing up at all?

They are not white. They aren’t showing up at all..

@shabti do you have any idea of the cause of my issue with the field instructions not showing up on frontend with elementor pro and the New Post form widget?

    With best regards,

    bb
