    Hello,
I’ve updated the plugin with the new version, but it seems there is a bug – I get the message (Blocked by reCAPTCHA! Unnatural interaction detected!) on all pages where is inserted the plugin shortcode. Please note that I don’t even have enabled the (Spam Protection – Google reCAPTCHA v3) on the Security page in Settings! I tried to enable it, but the bug is still there. Please solve the issue.
    Thanks!

    Hi @conquerortravel,

that’s happening because you haven’t cleared cache after the update. Your website is still loading the old javascript file which is not compatible with how the plugin works after the update.

Try clearing cache (minify, page cache and any CDN caches) and if it doesn’t work after that, don’t hesitate to contact me again ??

    Regards,
    Blaz

I have this problem too since the last update. I use W3TC and Fast Velocity Minify. Cleared caches from them both but still not working. Maybe I should try blacklisting some js files from cache. Any idea?

That shouldn’t be required. Do you use CDN such as Cloudflare? If you do, also clear cache there. And when you check if it’s working open an incognito window (and don’t be logged in) because the old file might still be cached by your browser.

    Blaz

Yes, I use Cloudflare and cleared them manually. When I use incognito mode all works well, so it seems the problem in old browser cache.
But then when I do google search, it seems other sites have this problem too. So Google catches the phrase “Blocked by reCAPTCHA! Unnatural interaction detected!”.
I guess it would take some time until all back to normal with this cache situation.

    @desperanza,

I don’t completely understand. Google bot sees page the same way as you do in incognito – it doesn’t cache your files, at least not for more than couple of minutes ??

Btw if you open outside incognito and you are not logged in, does it show the rating widget normally or with an error? Just curios if it’s browser cache or some kind of backend caching system.

    Regards,
    Blaz

    Hi Blaz

Ah yes, it happens only when i’m logged in. Outside incognito, when logged out all is normal as expected, but when i’m logged back in, it happened again.

This is probably some kind of server-side caching system from your hosting provider. Check out webhost’s configuration panel (cPanel) and see if there is any option to flush cache. One of my hosts uses such a system and I need to flush cache in cPanel to see changes when I’m logged in.

I’m having the same issue except it shows up in incognito as well.

Edited to say that I checked on mobile and Safari and it is working fine, so must be a caching issue with my browser.

I’ve cleaned up any possible cache, then visited a page through another browser, without being logged in on Google and the issue is still there, so I don’t think this bug is a caching issue…How can I reinstall the previous version?
    Thanks!
P.S. On mobile is the same issue.

I found the solution – you have to purge/clean all minified and combined JS files in the database, after that the plugin works as expected.

@conquerortravel great to hear you managed to solve the problem. Before anybody starts messing with the database; minify plugins usually have a button “clear minify cache” and that should be more than enough ?? Most caching/minify plugins also warn you on plugin update to clear cache.

@tinxtinx is it possible that the error occurs only when you are logged in? If so, try clearing cache in webhost’s configuration panel (cPanel).
