    Hi there,

I’m using Multisite and BuddyPress. I have nine registered users on the subsite I’m using BP and Super Socializer. Only five of them are showing up as BP members, including one of my two admins and four of my seven contributors.

I can’t think of any reason why they won’t show up, and I was wondering if you know of any conflicts with BP?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

No, there should not be any conflict between our plugin and BP. You can try registering new user using Social Login at your subsite to check if it shows up as BP member or not.
Let us know how it goes.

Hmm. Seems I’m having bigger problems with this than I thought. When I tried to register using SS, the screen went dark grey, and then nothing happened. And the test account is not showing in the users list.

I’m guessing that rules out the first issue, lol. But any thoughts on this?

Enable WordPress debugging, then try registering new user and see if any error shows up on screen. That might give some clue about the issue.

I’ve never done that before. Are you talking about this?

This is a live site. Is it safe to do?

Thanks so much for your help.

It is not recommended to do this on live site. Better, if you try this on development environment or when your website has least traffic.
You just have to replace define( 'WP_DEBUG', false ); with define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); in wp-config.php file in your WordPress installation folder, try registering new user, note the error displayed on screen (if any) and revert the changes back.

Okay. I might disable the login for now and take the site down for scheduled maintenance on Tuesday or something. I’ll let you know what happens.

Thanks so much for your help. ??

    Sure. You’re welcome ??

Okay, I activated debugging but I don’t see any issues being flagged anywhere. I don’t really know how to do this, and the codex page does not explain it very well, tbh. I downloaded Debug This and still cannot find anything.

I have the same issue with the social login feature. When I click on, for example, Twitter, it takes me to the authorization page. I enter my info, and it redirects me back, as expected. But the entire page gets a shade of grey over it, like when there is further information coming or a popup window, but nothing ever happens, and the user is never registered.

Can you setup test environment so that we can look into the situation?

    (@zanzaboonda)

Sure thing. But, forgive me, what would that entail, exactly? Should I set up a dummy subsite?

You have to replicate everything from your live website, to reproduce the issue.

Okay, I’m working on that now.

I turned off debugging, but this warning showed up on the front end of my site today.

Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘heateor_slmi_frontend_scripts’ not found or invalid function name in /home/content/99/13674599/html/zwoodle/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 525

I have not changed anything with the code, etc. Do you know what this is?

This was a minor bug in Social Login myCRED Integration add-on. Thanks for reporting. You can now update it to just released version 1.1, to get rid of this notice.
