BuddyPress – RSVP (Bookings) not showing up in activity stream

My BuddyPress stream does not show any activity from Events Manager. I have searched the documentation and it should “When a user books a place at an event, cancels it, or creates an event, the activity stream is updated. ” but none of these activities are showing up. Is there a setting somewhere I should be turning on ? A form that needs to be modified in some way ? Any help would be appreciated. I have the free Events Manager and the default BuddyPress installed.
