BuddyPress Registration Options WPML email messages

  • Hi,
    we translated plugin strings (check the Italian version) with WPML, but account approved email and account denied email are allways sent in english.

    Is there a way to send them in the language in which the user registered?

    Admittedly, we fall a little short on this topic because of the fact that we store the messages in the database directly, and they’re user provided.

    The defaults are all internationalization ready and passed through appropriate functions, but the moment they’re amended, is when it “falls apart” so to speak.

    Today I found out about https://wpml.org/wpml-hook/wpml_register_single_string/ which I believe could/would help us going forward with this, but we don’t have it ready and in place today. I also know it requires the “WPML String Translation” module, which you may or may not have at the moment.

    I’m definitely exploring this found link for BuddyPress Registration Options here, as well as some of our other plugins, but I can’t yet promise any sort of timeline.
