• I’m using this great plugin, but I have one big problem. I also have buddypress, and when user go to profile page, or activity there is a 404 error. After HC clear cache, there is no 404 error, but after some time there is again. I even added URIs to bypass like /members/ and /groups/ but no help.
    Please help me.
This is my only solution for buddypress.
    Thank you

  • I have just experienced the same problem, it also affected the ability to create buddypress groups.

As soon as I disabled Hyper Cache user profile pages and group creation worked again.

Same problem here. Would love a solution it was speeding up my site.

For clarification. My profile pages are set up as mydomain.com/[members own name], so I do not have a ‘/members/’ url in personal profiles. Cheers

Hi Guys, I don’t know why hyper cache is serving a 404 page, probably there is something going wrong where hyper cache analyses the response of buddypress. Try to use another caching plugin because it would take long time to investigate the problem and actually I have no room for that.

    Bye, Stefano.

OK, cheers for the quick answer.

Thought I’d share… Appears to work with with buddypress (wp and bp are both current versions) if you add /members/ the (Starting with) URIs to bypass list and enable Do not cache the “404 – Not found” page.

These are what I have in the list for (Starting with) URIs to bypass as well:
    /forums/
    /groups/
    /members/
    /activity/
    /blogs/
    /messages/
    /register/
    /activate/
    /cart/
    /checkout/
    /join/
    /_wp/wp-login.php/
    /members/

I am also experiencing this issue. Like @investacube said, I also have removed the “/members/” base URL, so all of the profile pages “domain.com/username” are returning 404 errors.

I would love to be able to use this plugin… This is the only bug that is holding me back.
