    Hi,

there is a conflict with this plugin and buddypress – if a buddypress group is private and you while not logged in click on that group, you will get blank screen. It should redirect to login page, but it doesnt cuz there’s an obvious conflict.

What are the chances to get it fixed?

    Thank you!

    Hello,

The problem, if this should lead to the login page, there is no need to hide this page so the plugin becomes useless.

    Hi,

I don’t think your reply makes sence – it’s not about hiding the login page, it’s about changing the url of login page. Now the url is /wp-login and with plugin you can make it anything.

Your plugin hides wp-admin, but not the wp-login, because it redirects the wp-login to a url you put in your plugin.

I don’t know what else to say – I explained the issue but your reply is about your plugin’s features, and not related to this case.

So, can we please discuss about the issue that is originally discussed here – the issue that buddyboss private groups for not logged in users brings to native wp login page, and with your plugin there is a conflict, because buddyboss has a customized the native wp login widget/page.

I hope to get a proper reply on this before I take decisions to completely delete the plugin or to get change the login url to something else and to have it working with buddyboss.

    Thank you

    Hello,

WPS Hide Login removes wp-login.php slug and redirects /wp-admin to front page.

It doesn’t redirect any other page. So, I don’t think you’re private group issue is linked to WPS Hide Login.

Funny answer, you don’t think you say.

I did testing, spent time, and you write a sentence “I don’t think”.

Good luck, I deleted it already.

@rosvaldas you’re right, the same thing happens to me, if a group is private, it gives me an error to access the page, and it doesn’t redirect me to the login, if I deactivate wps login, it works correctly. In my case it is with BuddyBoss, which is a BuddyPress mod.
