Buddypress plugin not working

  • I have tried to install BuddyPress plugin version 1.6.1 on my WP 3.3.2. It installs and activates. But when I go to the setting page it says “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” And the home page looks blank.
    I have tried to install manually as well as through admin side, but either way it is giving me the same error.

    I have a few different themes including 2010 and 2011, also Salutation. It has the same error on all of them.

    So, why I don’t have permission and where do I get the permission is the question.

    Anybody can help please?
