Buddypress Monalisa Not working when using double smilies

Double smiley means two smilies in a row?
Can you check if there is a space between the two smilies and if not try it with a space in between please. Just to make sure if this is the problem.

I figured out the issue. It was not with the plugin at all. For some reason posting two URLs in group activity was failing too. The offending character being “:” sign. I did a little bit of research and found that the RegEx used in moderating user input (for subscribers) were limiting the amount of URLs I added and for some reason was also limiting the smilies too. So I got into the database and increased the amount from 2 to 5 and it worked.

I am using the up-to-date version of buddypress, bbpress, wordpress and wp-monalisa.

Have found it. For future reference it is the ‘comment_max_links’ option within the ‘wp_options’ table.
