BuddyPress Intergration

I have to say I am in love with this plugin. Just the fact that it lets me organise writings into chapters and track which characters are in which chapters is great. The possibility of community writing is also extremely exciting.

I would really like to have this working more closely with BuddyPress. I know that this is a project that is being done for free and as I am a developer I feel like this should be something I could help with. That said, I am new to WordPress development and have just taken on a massive new load of commitments.

What is the best way for me to contribute with a view to getting WriteShare and BuddyPress working more closely together? Point me at the resources and I will do whatever I can to lend my time to helping this happen.
