You can use the asgarosforum_after_post_author hook to add your custom links/elements under the author-name of each post (for example a link to his profile, etc).

For example: new topics or answers should be displayed in the activity stream.

I dont know the API for the buddypress activity stream. What kind of information do you exactly need?
