Buddypress groups in Slideshow

  • I’m testing out the theme, and I really like it! (Great work!)

    I do have a question though. My buddypress is more geared to groups as opposed to blog posts. I love the slider, and it almost works 100% out of the box with groups (The group names with description appear great hovering) but I was wondering if there were a way to use the group avatar in the slide show, and also show them on the list on the right.

    You can see the example I have so far here.

    Essentially, I think this may mean associating the “Group Avatar” with the “Featured Image” for the post. I may be wrong though.

    If this is possible I would be more than happy to use and promote your theme!

    I should note too, I’m using the ‘Forum’ post type from bbpress to make what I currently have happen. I couldn’t find a way to use a ‘groups’ (I have mostly changed to exchanges on my site) as the post type.

    Maybe that is the issue?
