BuddyPress Global Search Plugin Conflict

  • The new version 4.6.3 is not compatible with BuddyPress Global Search. If the BuddyPress Search plugin is activated the search result is not loading for both the Live Search activated and deactivated. If the BuddyPress search plugin is deactivated, the BuddyPress Profile and items search do not appear in the search results for both the Live Search activated and deactivated. It can be fixed by downgrading to version 4.5.2. Please fix this to be compatible with the BuddyPress Global Search plugin or at least show the Profile of the Members and Groups.

    The URL is sample of a not loading search wherein the BuddyPress search plugin was activated. Refresh the page without searching and it work.

    This issue does not exist in version 4.5.2. If you want to replicate this, then Install the latest BuddyPress and BuddyPress Global Search plugins.

    If the BuddyPress Global Search plugin is activated the search result is not loading as shown earlier.

    If only BuddyPress is activated, no Profile or BuddyPress Page shows in the search result even when the BuddyPress Directories is activated in the Live Search. Below is the result if only BuddyPress activated.
