yes, i know, it gotta be my theme. But my premium theme doesnt provide support for plugin issues ?? So ive got buddypress installed and functional ( i can in fact directly enter URL’s to buddypress settings pages) but there is no menu for it. I think it has to do with my theme creating a menu right below the “dashboard” menu item, where buddypress should be. Anything i can do? its driving me crazy! thanks for any help.

If you are on multisite, check you are looking in the Network Admin screens. Otherwise, does switching to e.g. twenty ten theme, make the BuddyPress menu re-appear?

Thanks Paul. It turned out to be my theme….the themes settings admin menu was using the same location as buddypress. i found the function controlling it in the theme, changed it, and managed to get it worked out ??

@paul, are you saying that the Buddypress dashboard settings menu is only visible on the Network Admin Dashboard for a multisite installation? Thanks!
