I see no reason why my plug in would not be compatible with Buddypress. If you have any issues or concerns about it please let me know.

    Aloha, Eli

I confirm that the plugin cleans BuddyPress.
It takes several hours to go trough its 600 folders
You may want to re-run a second time afterwords as we found some remaining threats in:
    bp-forums/bb-config.php
    bp-forums/bp-forums-actions.php
    bp-forums/bp-forums-bbpress-sa.php
    bp-forums/bp-forums-bbpress.php
    bp-forums/bp-forums-filters.php
    bp-forums/bp-forums-functions.php
    bp-forums/bp-forums-loader.php
    bp-forums/bp-forums-screens.php
    bp-forums/bp-forums-template.php
    and if you have /activity/activity-loop.php

THANKS for a great and very timely LIFE-SAVING plugin!

    Thanks for this follow-up report.

The speed of the scan depends upon the speed of your server and the number of infections found.

I’m glad my plugin was so helpful for you. Let me know if you have any questions.

    Aloha, Eli

Well, correction to my last post NOT 600 but over 3200 folders. Currently scanning a second time (so no infection found) and going on for 9 hours and counting on a dedicated machine, Unbuntu with 8-core CPUs. So the speed seems to depend on the folder count as well

BTW initially plugin counter was showing about 1-2hrs for scanning but when it got to the buddy-press folders recalculated.

Currently: 1166 folders Checked 199 Minutes Elapsed
2111 Folders Remaining 360 Minutes Remaining
    Found 0 htaccess Threats
    Found 0 TimThumb Exploits
    Found 0 Backdoor Scripts
    Found 0 Known Threats

AGAIN FULLY WORKING and COMPARABLE with Buddy Press
    A great plugin and a LIFE-savior against bad hacks…

    Thanks for the additional follow-up.

Folder counts certainly affect the speed of the scan, it would take twice as long to scan twice as many folders, in general. However, I am concerned about the amount of time it’s taking to perform this scan on your server, as compared to other servers (which have much more to scan). The times you are reporting are extremely slow and I feel this could be due to some other issue that needs to be examined more closely. For your sake, and to satisfy my own curiosity, I would like the opportunity to personally look into this on your site.
