    fyi I am using Multisite, could this be the problem? is the plugin Multisite enabled?

    Thanks for your feedback. I may have missed something, so i’ll run some tests. Are you using a particular theme ?

    Multisite is not the trouble.

    I’ve just tested with :
    – WordPress 3.7.1
    – BuddyPress 1.8.1
    – BP Bookmarklet 2.0.2
    – twentytwelve theme
    – multisite on

    Everything works fine.

    From your member’s profile you need to click on the “What about adding a bookmarklet in your browser bookmarks toolbar ?” link.
    Once the bookmarklet appears, you need to drag it to your browser bookmark toolbar.
    Then while surfing on any web page, clicking on the bookmarklet will post a new activity on your profile.
